| Q: |
How is it possible for the Salt Ash Inn to lower the room rates? Isn't the cost of everything going up? |
| A: |
That is a good question! As of April 1, 2008 the Salt Ash Inn has lowered the daily rates by as much as 25 %. We can tell that in the current economy consumers are very price conscious and so are we. In order to lower the rates, we will now be serving a continental breakfast. Also due to the ever rising cost of energy, the outdoor hot tub will be open from Memorial day to mid September. (Same as our outdoor pool)

| Q: |
What is available on the continental breakfast menu? |
| A: |
Self service hot beverages (tea, coffee & cocoa), orange juice, cold cereals, homemade granola, fresh fruit, yogurts, breads for toasting and homemade muffins on weekends.

| Q: |
What time does the pub close? |
| A: |
Vermont law requires us to make last call at 2 AM, and the pub to be closed no later than 2:30 AM. On most nights we close and go to sleep by 11 PM, but we will stay open later if there are still guests enjoying some drinks in later hours. We only ask that those in the pub be respectful of others who may be trying to sleep, and we like to keep it quiet in the pub and all areas after 10 PM.

| Q: |
What happens if I lose my room key? |
| A: |
For the safety of our guests staying here and for our family who lives here, the exterior doors of the inn are kept locked at all times. You will need to keep your room key on you to reenter the inn. Please understand that you have a key to our house, and we try to avoid having keys not being returned. There is a charge of $20 for keys that are not returned. Also, please lock your valuables in your guest room or in your car during your stay. |
| Q: |
Is it OK for me to bring in my own alcoholic beverages to drink? |
| A: |
As the holders of a Vermont Liquor License, we are responsible for monitoring the amount of alcohol you drink in our business establishment. It is in violation of Vermont law for you to bring in your own alcohol to drink while you are here. It is also unlawful for alcohol to be self served. Any alcoholic beverage must be served to you by a person who has taken an alcohol awareness class. |
| Q: |
Is it OK for me to bring my own food to the Salt Ash Inn? |
| A: |

We are not serving lunch at this time, because that is when we clean up around here. Sorry, but there are no guest cooking facilities. We want to serve you on your vacation! |
